April 15, 2024: Liberty, SC 29657 The Liberty Red Devils baseball team (Liberty, SC), was overwhelmed 17-7 in Monday's non-league outing with the visiting St. Joseph's Catholic Knights (Greenville, SC)
The Knights now hold a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southside Christian for a 1A Region 1 outing on Wednesday, April 17. St. Joseph's Catholic will confront a Sabres team coming off a 11-8 non-league loss to Fountain Inn (Fountain Inn, SC). The Sabres record now stands at 14-7.
Next, the Red Devils confront the Blacksburg Wildcats (Blacksburg, SC) in a 2A Region 1 outing, on Thursday, April 18. Liberty will attempt to advance on its 7-12 season record. The Wildcats go into the outing with a 7-8 record after their 9-3 non-league loss to St. Joseph's Catholic (Greenville, SC).
