April 15, 2024: Charleston, SC 29412 Porter-Gaud Cyclones (Charleston, SC) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host James Island Trojans (Charleston, SC), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cyclones confront the Bishop England Battling Bishops (Charleston, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, April 17. Porter-Gaud will attempt to move on its 13-2 season record. The Battling Bishops enter the challenge with a 10-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Academic Magnet (North Charleston, SC).
The Trojans now possess a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they host Colleton County for a AAAA Region 7 challenge on Thursday, April 18. James Island will battle a Cougars team coming off a 12-0 league loss to May River (Bluffton, SC). The Cougars record now stands at 0-10.
