April 15, 2024: Elon, NC 27244 Western Alamance Warriors (Elon, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting McMichael Phoenix (Mayodan, NC), 9-8 in a non-league test.
With the win, Western Alamance upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Warriors host Williams (Burlington, NC) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 16. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 5-2. Williams won 8-7 in their recent non-league test against Orange (Hillsborough, NC)
With the defeat, McMichael falls to 7-5 on the season. The Phoenix host Forsyth Home Educators (Winston-Salem, NC) to battle the Hawks in a non-league test on Friday, April 19. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 4-3.
