April 15, 2024: Spartanburg, SC 29307 James F. Byrnes Rebels (Duncan, SC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Spartanburg Vikings (Spartanburg, SC), 21-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Rebels now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Dorman for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 16.
With the loss, Spartanburg falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Vikings host Landrum (Landrum, SC) to face the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 17. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
