South Carolina High School Softball - Ashley Ridge holds off West Ashley
April 15, 2024: Charleston, SC 29414 Ashley Ridge Swamp Foxes (Summerville, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host West Ashley Wildcats (Charleston, SC), 3-1 in a league challenge.
The Swamp Foxes now own a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they host Summerville for a AAAAA Region 7 challenge on Wednesday, April 17. Ashley Ridge will battle a Green Wave squad coming off a 12-0 league win over West Ashley (Charleston, SC). The Green Wave record now stands at 18-0.
With the loss, West Ashley falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Summerville (Summerville, SC) to battle the Green Wave in a AAAAA Region 7 challenge on Friday, April 19. The Green Wave enter the challenge with a record of 18-0.
