Kentucky High School Softball - Highlands bounces Pendleton County
April 15, 2024: Fort Thomas, KY 41075 Highlands Bluebirds (Fort Thomas, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Pendleton County Wildcats (Falmouth, KY), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Bluebirds now own a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they host Bellevue for a District 36 challenge on Wednesday, April 17. Highlands will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 21-3 non-league win over Robertson County (Mt. Olivet, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Pendleton County falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Mason County (Maysville, KY) to battle the Royals in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Royals enter the challenge with a record of 7-5. Mason County won 17-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Paris (Paris, KY)
