New York High School Softball - Vernon-Verona-Sherrill topped by Holland Patent
April 15, 2024: Holland Patent, NY 13354 The Holland Patent Golden Knights softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Red Devils to 1 in the Golden Knights league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Holland Patent moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Golden Knights host Rome Free Academy (Rome, NY) to play the Black Knights in a Section 3 Tri-Valley game on Tuesday, April 16. The Black Knights come into the game with a record of 2-1. Rome Free Academy won 5-3 in their recent non-league game against Central Square (Central Square, NY)
In their next game, the Red Devils play the Proctor Raiders (Utica, NY) in a Section 3 Tri-Valley game, on Monday, April 22. Vernon-Verona-Sherrill will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record.
