The Legacy Lightning (Broomfield, CO) baseball trounced the host Centaurus Warriors (Lafayette, CO), 15-2 in Tuesday's league challenge.

The Lightning now own a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they host Monarch for a 5A Granite Peaks challenge on Thursday, April 17. Legacy will clash with a Coyotes team coming off a 9-1 league win over Niwot (Niwot, CO). The Coyotes record now stands at 3-9.

With the defeat, Centaurus drops to 7-8 on the year. The Warriors travel to Skyline (Longmont, CO) to clash with the Falcons in a 4A/3A Granite Peaks challenge on Thursday, April 17. The Falcons go into the challenge with a record of 5-8. Skyline lost 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Horizon (Thornton, CO)
