Chestnut Ridge Lions (New Paris, PA) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Huntingdon Bearcats (Huntingdon, PA), 5-3 in a league match.

With the triumph, Chestnut Ridge advances its record to 3-4 on the season. The Lions host Richland (Johnstown, PA) to battle the Rams in a Laurel Highlands West match on Wednesday, April 16. The Rams come into the match with a record of 2-3. Richland lost 10-8 in their recent league match against Penn Cambria (Cresson, PA)

The Bearcats now have a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central for a Laurel Highlands East match on Wednesday, April 16. Huntingdon will battle a Dragons squad coming off a 17-6 league win over Hollidaysburg (Hollidaysburg, PA). The Dragons record now stands at 8-2.
