South Carolina High School Baseball - Sumter wallops North Central
April 15, 2025: Sumter, SC 29154 The Sumter Gamecocks (Sumter, SC) baseball trounced the visiting North Central Knights (Kershaw, SC), 12-2 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Gamecocks now own a 10-10 record. They take the field next when they host Westwood for a challenge on Tuesday, April 22. Sumter will clash with a Redhawks team coming off a 4-2 league loss to Lugoff-Elgin (Lugoff, SC). The Redhawks record now stands at 9-9.
With the defeat, North Central drops to 0-16 on the year. The Knights travel to Cheraw (Cheraw, SC) to play the Braves in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 22. The Braves go into the test with a record of 16-3.
