Virginia High School Lacrosse - Freeman can't hold off St. Catherine's
April 15, 2025: Richmond, VA 23226 St. Catherine's Saints (Richmond, VA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they saw their lacrosse team nudge the visiting Freeman Mavericks (Richmond, VA), 13-12 in a non-league battle.
With the victory, St. Catherine's advances its record to 2-3 on the season. The Saints host St. Anne's-Belfield (Charlottesville, VA) to encounter the Saints in a Virginia Prep battle on Thursday, April 17. The Saints come into the battle with a record of 6-5. St. Anne's-Belfield won 13-5 in their recent non-league battle against James Madison (Vienna, VA)
The Mavericks now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Albemarle for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 16. Freeman will encounter a Patriots team coming off a 17-5 non-league win over Goochland (Goochland, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 1-4.
