Illinois High School Soccer - Woodlands Academy toppled by Chicago University
April 15, 2025: Chicago, IL 60637 Chicago University Maroons (Chicago, IL) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Woodlands Academy Wildcats (Lake Forest, IL), 8-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Chicago University moves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Maroons travel to Latin (Chicago, IL) to clash with the Romans in a Independent Schools test on Tuesday, April 22. The Romans come into the test with a record of 4-3.
The Wildcats now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host North Shore Country Day for a Independent Schools test on Tuesday, April 22. Woodlands Academy will clash with a Raiders team coming off a 1-0 league win over Regina Dominican (Wilmette, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 3-2.
