Kentucky High School Lacrosse - Trinity overwhelms Woodford County

April 15, 2025: Louisville, KY 40207

The Trinity Shamrocks lacrosse squad scored 16 points and limited the visiting Woodford County Yellowjackets to 7 in the Shamrocks non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Shamrocks now own a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they host Montgomery Bell Academy for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 19. Trinity will clash with a Big Red squad coming off a 17-5 non-league win over Pope John Paul II (Hendersonville, TN). The Big Red record now stands at 11-2.

With the loss, Woodford County falls to 4-2 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Tates Creek (Lexington, KY) to clash with the Commodores in a challenge on Friday, April 18. The Commodores go into the challenge with a record of 2-8. Tates Creek lost 8-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Great Crossing (Georgetown, KY)
