April 15, 2025: Athens, GA 30606 The Athens Academy Spartans held off the visiting Madison County Red Raiders soccer team by a tally of 1-0 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next, the Spartans face the Tallulah Falls Indians (Tallulah Falls, GA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 17. Athens Academy will attempt to advance on its 6-7 season record. The Indians come into the game with a 13-1 record after their 10-0 league win over Loganville Christian Academy (Loganville, GA).
The Red Raiders (3-10) will now prepare for their game against Washington-Wilkes (Washington, GA). The Tigers come into the non-league game with a 2-11 record. In their last game, Washington-Wilkes was nipped by Athens Christian (Athens, GA), 7-2, in a non-league game.
