Tennessee High School Soccer - Sullivan East toppled by Providence Academy
April 15, 2025: Johnson City, TN 37615 Providence Academy (Johnson City, TN) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Sullivan East Patriots (Bluff City, TN), 5-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Providence Academy moves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The host Cherokee (Rogersville, TN) to clash with the Chiefs in a non-league test on Thursday, April 17. The Chiefs come into the test with a record of 10-0. Cherokee won 10-1 in their recent league test against Claiborne (New Tazewell, TN)
The Patriots now sport a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Elizabethton for a AA District 1 test on Thursday, April 17. Sullivan East will clash with a Fighting Cyclones team coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Dobyns-Bennett (Kingsport, TN). The Fighting Cyclones record now stands at 4-5.
