The Peyton Panthers (Peyton, CO) baseball trounced the visiting Crowley County Chargers (Ordway, CO), 9-2 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Colorado Springs Christian for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 16. Peyton will clash with a Lions team coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Rye (Rye, CO). The Lions record now stands at 2-9.

With the defeat, Crowley County drops to 6-4 on the year. The Chargers host Rye (Rye, CO) to clash with the Thunderbolts in a 2A Santa Fe challenge on Friday, April 17.
