The Yuma Criminals (Yuma, AZ) baseball trounced the visiting Somerton Toros (Somerton, AZ), 9-2 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

The Criminals now own a 14-7 record. They take the field next when they host Cortez for a 4A Black Canyon challenge on Thursday, April 16. Yuma will clash with a Colts team coming off a 21-0 league loss to Yuma (Yuma, AZ). The Colts record now stands at 4-13.

With the defeat, Somerton drops to 6-12 on the year. The Toros travel to Kingman (Kingman, AZ) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 17.
