The Kellam Knights baseball team scored 18 runs and held the visiting Tallwood Lions to 1 in the Knights non-league win on Wednesday.

The Knights now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Salem for a non-league test on Monday, April 20. Kellam will play a Sundevils team coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Norview (Norfolk, VA). The Sundevils record now stands at 0-4.

With the defeat, Tallwood drops to 3-4 on the year. The Lions host Bayside (Virginia Beach, VA) to play the Marlins in a test on Monday, May 4. The Marlins go into the test with a record of 2-2.
