Georgia High School Lacrosse - Sequoyah overwhelms Marietta
April 16, 2021: Canton, GA 30115 The crowd at Friday's non-league game between the Sequoyah Chiefs (Canton, GA) and the visiting Marietta Blue Devils (Marietta, GA), saw Sequoyah's lacrosse team achieve victory over Marietta by a final score of 16-11.
The Chiefs (4-12) will now prepare for their game against Forsyth Central (Cumming, GA). The Bulldogs enter the 6A-7A Area 6 game with a 5-7 record. In their last game, Forsyth Central edged Gainesville (Gainesville, GA), 22-1, in a league game.
The Blue Devils (3-11) will now prepare for their game against Kell (Marietta, GA). The Longhorns enter the 6A-7A Area 4 game with a 4-8 record. In their last game, Kell was overwhelmed by Pope (Marietta, GA), 19-6, in a league game.
