April 16, 2022: Fairfield, CT 06824 Trumbull Eagles (Trumbull, CT) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Fairfield Prep Jesuits (Fairfield, CT), 8-7 in a non-league test.
With the win, Trumbull upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Danbury (Danbury, CT) to battle the Hatters in a Fairfield County test on Monday, April 18. The Hatters come into the test with a record of 5-1. Danbury won 6-0 in their recent non-league test against New Britain (New Britain, CT)
With the defeat, Fairfield Prep falls to 2-3 on the season. The Jesuits travel to Hand (Madison, CT) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Monday, April 18. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 5-1. Hand won 10-6 in their recent non-league test against Conard (West Hartford, CT)
