April 16, 2022: Frankfort, IL 60423 Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Lemont Lemont HS (Lemont, IL) and the host Lincoln-Way East Griffins (Frankfort, IL), saw Lemont's baseball squad knock off Lincoln-Way East by a count of 11-3.
Coming up next, the Lemont HS play the Bremen Braves (Midlothian, IL) in a South Suburban - Blue battle, on Monday, April 18. Lemont will attempt to move on its 9-3 season record. The Braves enter the battle with a 5-3 record after their 15-0 league win over Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL).
The Griffins now possess a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lockport for a Southwest Suburban - Red battle on Tuesday, April 19. Lincoln-Way East will play a Porters squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL). The Porters record now stands at 6-0.
