Sachse Mustangs (Sachse, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Pearce Mustangs (Richardson, TX), 6-5 in a non-league test.

With the win, Sachse upgrades its record to 15-9 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Garland (Garland, TX) to battle the Owls in a 6A Region II District 9 test on Tuesday, April 19. The Owls come into the test with a record of 3-5. Garland lost 13-2 in their recent league test against Naaman Forest (Garland, TX)

With the defeat, Pearce falls to 15-5 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Nimitz (Irving, TX) to battle the Vikings in a 6A Region I District 7 test on Tuesday, April 19. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 4-12. Nimitz lost 5-0 in their recent league test against Lake Highlands (Dallas, TX)
