New York High School Baseball - Suffern wallops Tappan Zee
April 16, 2022: Orangeburg, NY 10962 Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Suffern Mounties (Suffern, NY) and the host Tappan Zee Dutchmen (Orangeburg, NY), saw Suffern's baseball squad knock off Tappan Zee by a count of 14-3.
Coming up next, the Mounties play the Nyack Red Hawks (Upper Nyack, NY) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 18. Suffern will attempt to move on its 8-1 season record. The Red Hawks enter the battle with a 1-5 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to North Rockland (Thiells, NY).
The Dutchmen now possess a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clarkstown North for a Section 1 Conference 2 - B battle on Tuesday, April 19.
