April 16, 2022: South Weymouth, MA 02190 The crowd at Saturday's non-league game between the Mansfield Hornets (Mansfield, MA) and the host Weymouth Wildcats (South Weymouth, MA), saw Mansfield's lacrosse team achieve victory over Weymouth by a margin of 9-4.
The Hornets (2-1) will now prepare for their game against King Philip Regional (Wrentham, MA). The Warriors enter the Hockomock game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, King Philip Regional edged Oliver Ames (North Easton, MA), 17-2, in a league game.
The Wildcats (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Catholic Memorial (West Roxbury, MA). The Knights enter the non-league game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Catholic Memorial was overwhelmed by St. John's Prep (Danvers, MA), 17-4, in a league game.
