The Galva Wildcats routed the visiting Bushnell-Prairie City Spartans softball squad by a count of 18-7 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Wildcats (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Stark County (Toulon, IL). The Rebels go into the Lincoln Trail battle with a 1-10 record.

The Spartans now sport a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Havana for a Prairieland battle on Monday, April 18. Bushnell-Prairie City will meet a Ducks squad coming off a 9-5 non-league win over Lewistown (Lewistown, IL). The Ducks record now stands at 6-2.
