Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs (Franklin, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Herron Achaeans (Indianapolis, IN), 21-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Grizzly Cubs now own a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Whiteland for a Mid-State challenge on Tuesday, April 19. Franklin Community will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 14-4 non-league win over Noblesville (Noblesville, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 7-0.

With the loss, Herron falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Achaeans travel to Heritage Christian (Indianapolis, IN) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 18. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. Heritage Christian lost 14-1 in their recent league challenge against Covenant Christian (Indianapolis, IN)
