Michigan High School Softball - Riverview bounces Melvindale
April 16, 2022: Riverview, MI 48192 Riverview Pirates (Riverview, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Melvindale Cardinals (Melvindale, MI), 15-0 in a league challenge.
The Pirates now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Jefferson for a Huron challenge on Wednesday, April 20. Riverview will battle a Bears squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Milan (Milan, MI). The Bears record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Melvindale falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Garden City (Garden City, MI) to battle the Cougars in a Western Wayne challenge on Monday, April 18. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Garden City lost 3-2 in their recent league challenge against Grosse Ile (Grosse Ile, MI)
