In Saturday's non-league contest, the Meridian Hawks (Macon, IL) softball team overwhelmed the host Okaw Valley Timberwolves (Bethany, IL), by a margin of 10-0.

With the triumph, Meridian moves its record to 10-3 on the year. The Hawks travel to Clinton (Clinton, IL) to play the Maroons in a Central Illinois contest on Monday, April 18. The Maroons come into the contest with a record of 1-8. Clinton lost 19-2 in their recent non-league contest against Paris (Paris, IL)

In their next game, the Timberwolves play the Blue Ridge Knights (Farmer City, IL) in a Lincoln Prairie contest, on Monday, April 18. Okaw Valley will attempt to move on its 2-10 season record.
