April 16, 2024: Maumee, OH 43537 Maumee Panthers (Maumee, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Bryan Golden Bears (Bryan, OH), 7-6 in a non-league test.
With the win, Maumee upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to Genoa Area (Genoa, OH) to face the Comets in a Northern Buckeye outing on Wednesday, April 17. The Comets enter the outing with a record of 1-6. Genoa Area lost 10-0 in their recent league outing against Eastwood (Pemberville, OH)
Next, the Golden Bears face the Patrick Henry Patriots (Hamler, OH) in a Northwest Ohio outing, on Thursday, April 18. Bryan will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 3-2 league loss to Archbold (Archbold, OH).
