April 16, 2024: Georgetown, DE 19947 Sussex Central Golden Knights (Georgetown, DE) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Delmar Wildcats (Delmar, DE), 13-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, Sussex Central upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Golden Knights host Dover (Dover, DE) to battle the Senators in a Henlopen North test on Thursday, April 18. The Senators come into the test with a record of 3-4. Dover won 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Sussex Academy (Georgetown, DE)
With the defeat, Delmar falls to 4-4 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Laurel (Laurel, DE) to battle the Bulldogs in a Henlopen South test on Thursday, April 18. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 2-5. Laurel lost 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Cape Henlopen (Lewes, DE)
