Kansas High School Soccer - St. James Academy nudges Bishop Miege
April 16, 2024: Shawnee Mission, KS 66205 St. James Academy Thunder (Lenexa, KS) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Bishop Miege Stags (Shawnee Mission, KS), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Thunder confront the Hayden Wildcats (Topeka, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 18. St. James Academy will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Junction City/St. Xavier (Junction City, KS).
The Stags now possess a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to McPherson for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 19. Bishop Miege will confront a Bullpups team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Mulvane (Mulvane, KS). The Bullpups record now stands at 5-3.
