April 16, 2024: Woodside, DE 19980 The Early College Hornets softball team (Dover, DE), was routed 12-0 in Tuesday's non-league test with the host Polytech Panthers (Woodside, DE)
Coming up next, the Panthers encounter the Smyrna Eagles (Smyrna, DE) in a Henlopen North test, on Thursday, April 18. Polytech will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 2-4 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Indian River (Dagsboro, DE).
The Hornets (1-5) will now prepare for their test against Lake Forest (Felton, DE). The Spartans come into the non-league test with a 7-1 record. In their last test, Lake Forest was routed by Sussex Central (Georgetown, DE), 6-2, in a non-league test.
