Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Southern Indians (Salineville, OH) and the host Madonna Blue Dons (Weirton, WV), witnessed Southern's softball squad tip Madonna by a count of 8-6.

The Indians now sport a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Columbiana for a Eastern Ohio Athletic match on Wednesday, April 17. Southern will meet a Clippers squad coming off a 13-8 non-league win over Girard (Girard, OH). The Clippers record now stands at 8-2.
