The Cedar Creek Pirates baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Lower Cape May Tigers to 1 in the Pirates league win on Wednesday.

The Pirates now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Mainland Regional for a non-league test on Thursday, April 17. Cedar Creek will play a Mustangs team coming off a 7-4 non-league loss to Shawnee (Medford, NJ). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-6.

With the defeat, Lower Cape May drops to 3-5 on the year. The Tigers host Middle Township (Cape May Court House, NJ) to play the Panthers in a non-league test on Thursday, April 17. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 8-1. Middle Township won 14-3 in their recent league test against Bridgeton (Bridgeton, NJ)
