The Goffstown Grizzlies baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Merrimack Tomahawks to 3 in the Grizzlies league win on Wednesday.

The Grizzlies now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Concord for a Division I test on Friday, April 18. Goffstown will clash with a Crimson Tide team coming off a 3-2 league win over Alvirne (Hudson, NH). The Crimson Tide record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Merrimack drops to 0-2 on the year. The Tomahawks travel to Spaulding (Rochester, NH) to clash with the Red Raiders in a Division I test on Friday, April 18.
