The Herscher Tigers baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Pontiac Indians to 4 in the Tigers non-league win on Wednesday.

The Tigers now own a 13-3 record. They take the field next when they host Seneca for a non-league test on Thursday, April 17. Herscher will play a Fighting Irish team coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Fieldcrest (Minonk, IL). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 3-11.

With the defeat, Pontiac drops to 5-6 on the year. The Indians host Maroa-Forsyth (Maroa, IL) to play the Trojans in a non-league test on Saturday, April 19. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 9-3.
