In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Woodland Park Panthers baseball team scored a close 6-5 victory over the SkyView Academy Hawks.

The Panthers (10-1) will now prepare for their game against Florence (Florence, CO). The Huskies enter the 3A/2A Tri-Peaks game with a 6-5 record. In their last game, Florence was tipped by Custer County (Westcliffe, CO), 18-8, in a non-league game.

Next, the Hawks face the Dawson School Mustangs (Lafayette, CO) in a 2A Mile High game, on Thursday, April 17. SkyView Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 4-6 record after their 15-4 non-league win over Bishop Machebeuf (Denver, CO).
