April 16, 2025: Summerville, SC 29483 The West Springfield Spartans baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Summerville Green Wave to 3 in the Spartans non-league win on Wednesday.
The Spartans now own a 11-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to James Madison for a non-league test on Thursday, April 17. West Springfield will clash with a Warhawks team coming off a 9-5 non-league win over Lucy Beckham (Mt. Pleasant, SC). The Warhawks record now stands at 10-1.
With the defeat, Summerville drops to 14-5 on the year. The Green wave travel to Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA) to clash with the Generals in a non-league test on Thursday, April 17. The Generals go into the test with a record of 8-5. Washington-Liberty won 6-0 in their recent non-league test against Stone Bridge (Ashburn, VA)
