James Madison Warhawks (Vienna, VA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their lacrosse team achieve victory over the host The Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA), 16-11 in a non-league battle.

With the victory, James Madison advances its record to 6-1 on the season. The Warhawks host Battlefield (Haymarket, VA) to encounter the Bobcats in a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 23. The Bobcats come into the battle with a record of 6-1.

The Eagles now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Cross for a VISAA Division 2 battle on Thursday, April 17. The Covenant will encounter a Raiders team coming off a 21-6 non-league win over Steward (Richmond, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 5-4.
