April 16, 2025: Topeka, KS 66612 Washburn Rural Blues (Topeka, KS) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Topeka Trojans (Topeka, KS), 3-1 in a league test.
With the triumph, Washburn Rural moves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Blues host Shawnee Heights (Tecumseh, KS) to clash with the Thunderbirds in a non-league test on Monday, April 28. The Thunderbirds come into the test with a record of 4-3.
The Trojans now sport a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Manhattan for a Centennial test on Tuesday, April 22. Topeka will clash with a Indians team coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Bishop Carroll (Wichita, KS). The Indians record now stands at 4-3.
