April 16, 2025: Charlottesville, VA 22901 The Albemarle Patriots lacrosse team (Charlottesville, VA), was overwhelmed 13-4 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Freeman Mavericks (Richmond, VA)
With the victory, Freeman advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Mavericks host Kellam (Virginia Beach, VA) to encounter the Knights in a non-league battle on Saturday, April 19. The Knights come into the battle with a record of 5-0. Kellam won 9-8 in their recent non-league battle against Midlothian (Midlothian, VA)
The Patriots now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Charlottesville for a Jefferson battle on Tuesday, April 22. Albemarle will encounter a Black Knights team coming off a 15-9 non-league win over Goochland (Goochland, VA). The Black Knights record now stands at 3-3.
