New Jersey High School Lacrosse - Newton sneaks past Delaware Valley
April 16, 2025: Newton, NJ 07860 Fans at Wednesday's non-league test between the Newton Braves (Newton, NJ) and the visiting Delaware Valley Terriers (Frenchtown, NJ), witnessed Newton's lacrosse squad hold off Delaware Valley by a count of 7-6.
The Braves (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Lenape Valley (Stanhope, NJ). The Patriots enter the Pooley test with a 2-5 record.
Next, the Terriers battle the Phillipsburg Stateliners (Phillipsburg, NJ) in a Freelance test, on Tuesday, April 22. Delaware Valley will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Stateliners enter the test with a 0-7 record after their 18-6 non-league loss to Easton Area (Easton, PA).
