California High School Lacrosse - San Juan Hills nipped by Newport Harbor
April 16, 2025: San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675 Newport Harbor Sailors (Newport Beach, CA) backers exited the stadium satisfied Wednesday as they saw their lacrosse team nip the host San Juan Hills Stallions (San Juan Capistrano, CA), 9-8 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Newport Harbor improves its record to 6-8 on the season. The Sailors host Los Alamitos (Los Alamitos, CA) to play the Griffins in a Sunset game on Monday, April 21. The Griffins come into the game with a record of 14-3. Los Alamitos lost 10-4 in their recent league game against Corona del Mar (Newport Beach, CA)
The Stallions now have a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Capistrano Valley for a game on Friday, April 18. San Juan Hills will play a Cougars team coming off a 17-9 league loss to Dana Hills (Dana Point, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 3-12.
