In Wednesday's non-league test, the Cascade Cadets (Clayton, IN) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Northview Knights (Brazil, IN), by a tally of 11-1.

Next, the Cadets clash with the Edgewood Mustangs (Ellettsville, IN) in a non-league test, on Friday, April 18. Cascade will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Mustangs go into the test with a 5-1 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Terre Haute North Vigo (Terre Haute, IN).

The Knights (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Shakamak (Jasonville, IN). The Lakers go into the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Shakamak prevailed over Washington (Washington, IN), 12-10, in a non-league test.
