Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Gilbert Indians (Gilbert, SC), 6-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Crest improves its record to 17-2 on the year. The Chargers travel to Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC) to play the Mountaineers in a Big South 3A game on Thursday, April 24. The Mountaineers enter the game with a record of 11-3. Kings Mountain won 20-0 in their recent league game against Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC)
