The Freeman Mavericks softball team scored 15 runs and held the host Highland Springs Springers to 8 in the Mavericks non-league win on Wednesday.

The Mavericks now possess a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maggie Walker for a Colonial battle on Friday, April 18. Freeman will confront a team coming off a 15-5 non-league win over Henrico (Richmond, VA). The record now stands at 4-2.
