The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Yorktown Tigers (Yorktown, IN) and the host Frankton Eagles (Frankton, IN), observed Yorktown's softball team prevail over Frankton by a tally of 9-1.

The Tigers (7-0) will now prepare for their bout against Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IN). The Golden Bears go into the Hoosier Heritage bout with a 5-5 record. In their last bout, Shelbyville knocked off New Castle (New Castle, IN), 13-3, in a league bout.
