The Mitchell Kernels softball squad (Mitchell, SD), was routed 6-2 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Roosevelt Rough Riders (Sioux Falls, SD)

With the triumph, Roosevelt improves its record to 3-3 on the year. The Rough Riders travel to Jefferson (Sioux Falls, SD) to face the Cavaliers in a Class AA contest on Tuesday, April 21. The Cavaliers enter the contest with a record of 2-0.

The Kernels now hold a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Harrisburg for a Class AA contest on Monday, April 20. Mitchell will face a Tigers squad coming off a 24-10 league win over O'Gorman (Sioux Falls, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 4-1.
