New Mexico High School Softball - Raton bounces Robertson

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Raton Tigers softball team scored a nice 19-9 win over the Robertson Cardinals.

The Tigers (11-3) will now prepare for their match against Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, NM). The Lions come into the A/2A District 6 match with a 8-5 record. In their last match, Santa Rosa notched a victory over Logan (Logan, NM), 19-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Cardinals battle the St. Michael's Horsemen (Santa Fe, NM) in a 3A District 2 match, on Tuesday, April 21. Robertson will attempt to better on its 4-11 season record. The Horsemen come into the match with a 17-3 record after their 11-0 league loss to West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM).
