April 17, 2023: Chesnee, SC 29323 The Chesnee Eagles baseball team (Chesnee, SC), was overwhelmed 11-6 in Monday's non-league outing with the visiting Chapman Panthers (Inman, SC)
The Panthers now hold a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Travelers Rest for a 3A Region 3 outing on Tuesday, April 18. Chapman will face a Devildogs team coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Greer (Greer, SC). The Devildogs record now stands at 5-5.
Next, the Eagles face the Broome Centurions (Spartanburg, SC) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, April 18. Chesnee will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Centurions go into the game with a 3-11 record after their 15-0 league win over Carolina Academy (Greenville, SC).
